For Referring Physicians

Goal # 1

To make referral as easy and time efficient as possible. Referrals can be made in several ways.

1. Give the patient one of our business cards and ask them to call us and schedule.
2. Fax the patient demographics and reason for request, and we will call the family to schedule an appointment.
3. Call us during business hours and we will give you an appointment time that you can give to the patient.
4. For next day, ER or Hospital follow-up, call my cell phone or answering service directly and I can arrange a time for the patient to be seen.

Goal # 2

To keep routine new patient consult wait time to 2 weeks or less. Still if the scheduled appointment time is too distant, or for special requests, please feel free to contact me directly. I will do what I can to accommodate the schedule you feel is appropriate.

Goal #3

To visit local offices in person to advise them of our services and policy. Also to get any way that we can service you better. I will be leaving business cards that you can use at your convenience. Please let us know if you do not receive a visit and would like one or would like a supply of cards.

Goal #4

In the future, I hope that our electronic health record, GenesysMD will allow referring physicians to access their patients’ information either at the hosting website or through this site.
